Nina on my scale models

This blog serves as the documentations of my scale model projects dedicated to Nina.

To produce Nina's USAF Desert Viper Wing aircraft, we basically need...
a Tamiya 1/48th scale F-16C Block 32/52 (61102) and a USAF F-16C decal sheet (1406238) from Lil's Hobby Center, SM Mega Mall

a Wolfpack Designs Dragchute Housing Set (48023) ordered from Lucky Models Hong Kong

and a beautiful pic of Nina

Paints: Tamiya Colors: XF-1 Flat Black, XF-21 Sky, XF-52 Flat Earth, XF-57 Buff and XF-19 Sky Grey
           (extra colors for the ejection seat XF-3 Flat Yellow, XF-5 Flat Green and XF-49 Khaki)
           -extra colors for the pilot figure not include in this list which are XF-65 German Grey and XF-59 Desert Yellow
 Tools: Hobby Knife, Compressor and Air Brush, plastic side cutters, #600 #1200 #2500 sandpapers and tube plastic cement
Extras: tooth picks, cotton swabs and pencil graphite.

my detail parts for the aircraft is due to arrive within two weeks...
I also had laid out a custom decal sheet with the personalization details like Nina's name...
unfortunately, I still haven't got a pic of Nina for the tail art...

as of 20 Sep 08...

> replaced the tail band with red and yellow squadron triangles and placed a red heart at its apex.
> put the command and subordinate unit decals to their appriopriate places.
> put in Nina pilot figure.
> added "Soul Siren" on the tip of the rudder.

The second Nina's Viper shall be...
...remain at 1/48th scale, so that the first Viper will have a sister in my collection...
...more advanced model than the previous (a Block 52...
...in air-to-ground combat mode, w/c means it will have smart bombs...  
...wearing either a pixelized camouflage or the Israeli Air Force camouflage...  
...piloted by sarah "popstar" geronimo (serve as a squadron leader of Nina's Wing)...
...wearing a tail art whether to make it just a black outline, no colors to maintain camouflage efficiency...

...in air-to-ground combat mode, w/c means it will have smart bombs...  
...wearing either a pixelized camouflage...  
...wearing a tail art like the first one...
...it's now in painting stage...
