Reaction to Nina's Bday Celebration in ASAP (not the original title)

No one was there for Nina kanina sa ASAP. Narinig nio poh ba ung mga sigaw na "rachelle, rachelle", at least kht ky Christian meron... kay Nina wla! And sobrang nabastusan lang tlga ako sa ginawa ng audience kanina, sobra.. ayos lang sanang ganon kung hndi birthday ni Nina, pero hndi eh, it was her bday celebration, kkapiranggot na nga ang xposure ginanon pa xa.

I'm sure ASAP thinks na ganun2 lang ang lahat, they know na walang aalma, walang magrereact at walang pakialam ang mga tao kahit tapakan pa nila c Nina... and it's true nman dba? I just feel sad for Nina and I hope hindi sya na-hurt at hndi nia npansin, although sa lakas ng bbig ng mga taong sumigaw ng pangalan ni "Rachelle" posibleng narinig nga nia.. I called 9244101 na hotlyn ng ABS at nagleave ng comment pero I knew it wasn't enough.

Npakabastos tlga ng mga taong yun, bday Nina hndi na nila ginalang ung mga tao, too sad dahil wlang sumigaw ng pangalan ni Nina knina, nkkainis tlga.. <<SNIPPED>... we all know na may control sila sa audience kht ppano, dahil merong mga officers (I don't know what they're called) na nagdidirect kung kelan mag-aaplause ang audience.. <<SNIPPED>>

Where were Nina' supporters knina? Sapat na ba na magpost lang ng mga pics sa forum, bumili ng album ni Nina at magsabi lang ng"I love u Nina", "ang galing mo tlga", "the best k tlga Nina", etc.? We all know na shy si Nina at kung na-hurt man sya, hndi sya magrereact.. she would not even defend herself and would rather choose to keep quiet, that's why we should be the ones to defend her!

What if naargabyado na c Nina? Will you defend and fight for her? Or mananahimik na lang kau at papalampasin AS USUAL..there are several ways to defend her but u just would not do that either dahil bka tingin nio uneducated ang paglalaban sa isang artist sa lyk nio or feeling nio walang mngyyari, definitely not true! U can do it a way na hndi bastos ang dating, and tlagang walang mngyyari kpag walang ginagawa..

Guys, come to think of it, and sana wag kau magalit sa mga cnabi ko bcuz those are true...and I know, I'm sure maraming hndi nkpanood d2 dahil hndi ng-expect na llabas xa sa asap.. I know rin na mraming mngdedeadma sa nangyari knina. It's up to u lng nman eh.

First things first: please do not post multiple copies of the same message in several threads.  Decide on whether to add a new thread or add a reply to an existing thread.  Thank you.

Now, let me address your concerns.

You're right: some audience took advantage and cheered for their idol during their performance.  This cannot be helped.  The "officers" or floor managers do not control who and what to shout: they only encourage the audience to stand and cheer, especially if the camera pans across studio.  But those shouting for another artist is within the control of the artist's fans, and it could be that the manager may even be asking the fans to cheer on.

I've seen this happen many times in the studio: Sheryn's fans did the same to Nina and if I remember right, to Sarah too.  I've personally heard how loud they cheer for her in the studio.  This cannot be helped because ultimately, this is the decision of the individuals involved.  Assuming that ASAP is involved, then this goes to show how they treat their non-contract talents.  If you were a singer with strong beliefs and principles, would you want to join such an organization?

Why didn't Nina send a group to cheer her on?  1. She's not the kind of artist who will bring a "hakot" crowd.   2. Although they were supposed to have passes for their guests they were not given the privilege when she was a mainstay so they do not bother to ask anymore.  Is this fair?  Of course not.  Who decides this?  Not Nina nor her management but ASAP.  Just like do you regularly hear cheerers for Jed and Sitti?  And BTW, Nina is not affected by this because she goes there to do what she loves doing: that is to sing.

You keep on insisting that Nina should do something to be a regular in ASAP, to defend herself and keep herself in ASAP.  Do you think that an artist of her caliber would impose herself on a show?  She's not that kind of a person.  In fact, perhaps her way of defending herself from this kind of treatment is to not sign with ASAP at all and just be content with guestings.  Do you know how Nina is when she is mad or angry?  I have and her reaction is consistent to Nina as a person.

What are the implications of Nina signing up with ASAP?  She will be legally bound to keep to ABS-CBN.  But how is that going to happen if she wants the option to guest in shows of other stations?

I do not understand why you have to single out the moderators in your message: "Sa mga moderators, what do u think about sa nangyari kanina? OK lang na nman po ba ang ngyari knina?"  Your tone is sarcastic and I am personally agitated by your statement.  My family loves Nina; I know of other fans here who loves Nina even before she was Nina.  And yet you do not hear from these people.  Now why is that?  Maybe they understand what she is going through.  They do not incite people and make it look like Nina or her management is at fault.

Talking about management: Nina is managed by Siren Entertainment Productions.  It's a management agency that her family owns, with Direk Ernie helping out on the other aspects of the business.  So when you question what Nina's management is doing about ASAP, you are questioning Nina's judgment.  Please consider that.

Again let me stress: I understand the frustration of not being able to see or watch Nina perform.  But to see Nina sing a couple of lines from her own song - this does not do her justice and is even frustrating for others.

But I think that is an indicator that although some people believe that things can be better for Nina's TV coverage, they accept what is happening as a fact of showbiz.

I also Watch Nina @ ASAP yesterday.Im happy that ASAP give a Bday celebration at that program.I notice bakit hindi sya nagblow ng candle?At about sa concern mo miggy, cguro kung nandun lang tayong mga fans nina,Im sure mas malakas ang sigawan sa name ni nina,I think medyo kulang lang ng update ang mga fans ni nina.dont worry dami parin namna nagmamahal kay Nina kahit na anong gawin nila.

Ganun talaga ung mga fans...kung ako ung nandun syempre isisigaw ko ung name ni NINA...eh kaso fans ng ibang artist ung nandun, kaya chini-cheer nila ung idol nila. if you guys still remember, when NINA and Sarah sing "Somewhere Down the Road".  Diba ang daming sumisigaw sa name ni NINA and SARAH.  Ok naman ung BDAY nya ah at least meron diba.

hi miggy.  i respect your opinion about the show but i have to edit your post to protect our website (and myself) from any legal actions that ASAP's legal department might take.

even if it's for nina's benefit, the tone of your message could solicit more flamed reactions.  and this is against forum rule #4 and 5.  our rules also stated that, "If you are found breaking any of the rules, your account will be banned immediately. There will be no warnings!"
