LITE ROCK AT THE BELLEVUE TONIGHT!

featuring Nina


20/20 Entertainment Bar, December 15, 2006 - The country's only five-star hotel in south Metro Manila played host to WROCK 96.3 Lite Rock series.  The Bellevue's 20/20 Entertainment Bar was full as patrons came in early for dinner.  The bar's featured drink for December is the Mistletoe and this includes a free Santa Puppy stuff toy.

Nina started around 9:45 with a heartfelt rendition of "At Your Best".  She followed up with a remake from her latest self-titled album "I Can't Make You Love Me".  Lovers of her "Nina Live!" multi-platinum album got a special treat as she sang several songs like "Sunlight", "Sweet Thing", "Stay (With Me)", "I Love You Goodbye" and the monster hit "Love Moves in Mysterious Ways".

She sang two staple duets with (no, not Nyoy this time)  Mike, her keyboardist: "Love Is" and "Secret Lovers".  "Get Here", another staple of her regular bar gigs, was also belted in the unique Soul Siren way.

The quiet crowd burst into applause as Nina sang "Someday", her latest single from her latest self-titled album.  For the birthday celebrators, she sang "Araw Mo".  She gave in to the crowd who requested Mariah Carey's "Butterfly" and her first major hit "Jealous".  She ended the show with "Through The Fire", hitting the high notes with her usual grace and ease.

Let's all hope that a repeat is in the offing.  =)

i'm so happy na successful at madami nanuod sa bellevue concert. sayang di ako nakapunta.

nwey, congrats ko lang si nina for winning rx's 2006 opm female artist of the year. someday is the 2nd biggest hit of 2006 following kamikazee's narda which is at no. 1 according to rx's year-end opm countdown. i do also made it as the 10th biggest hit of the year. congrats nina and to all nssians!
