Christina Aguilera Trying to End World Hunger

Christina Aguilera took some time out of promoting her latest album to visit the children of Haiti.

Xtina is the newest Ambassador Against Hunger for the World Food Programme. One of her first lines of duty was to visit the children of earthquake stricken Haiti.

Christina sang “Happy Birthday” to the children to represent a new beginning for the earthquake stricken country.

When Christina visited Oprah last week, she talked about her involvement with the WFP saying, “A child dies every six seconds of hunger which is a huge statistic for me. After having my own child I just had to be a part of it and do something about it and help change that situation.”
